Description
“One, two, three, four… I don’t like you!!!” – this is how the German band’s debut CD starts. Any resemblance is not coincidental, as the band’s name comes from a famous Skrewdriver song. I Don’t Like You plays typical German Oi! /skinhead rock, with a guitar sound clearly influenced by 70s Skrewdriver. Needless to say, the lyrics don’t deal with the silly PC bullshit that has infected many bands these days. The album was released in 2011 by Oi! Ain’t Red Records, which contains 12 great recordings, including two Skrewdriver covers (“Streetfight” and “I don’t like you”) and a Perkele cover (their song “Göteborg” became Thüringen), but the original compositions also hold their own. A 16-page booklet with lyrics and pictures accompanies the CD.
