Sturm und Drang are surprisingly back on the scene ‘relatively soon’ after their last longplayer ‘Ahnenerbe | Totenkvlt’ and open 2025 with a very, very big exclamation mark!
On ‘Verlies’, the band from southern Brandenburg take us on a journey that takes on dystopian proportions.
Darkly arranged and characterised by a noticeable expansion of the band’s own musical horizon, they balance themselves much harder, denser and more self-contained over 10 songs in the band’s very own crossover style.
In parts even spectacularly experimental. In terms of content, the focus is on the existential questions of our people, their fate and the rebellion or the fight to preserve custom, law and species.
In doing so, Harbard presents himself in his uniqueness fresher and more rousing than ever.
In short: ‘Verlies’ is already a first highlight in the hopefully qualitatively good RAC year 2025!!!!
