Heimat, their new album, blasts out of the speakers with such force that it’s pure joy.
\nThe music is brutal, bold and yet so delicate and soulful, boasting an incredible amount of melody. The nine new tracks (+ intro) are fresh and modern, yet wonderfully familiar.
\nThe lyrics have a strongly \u2018image-generating\u2019 yet clear, penetrating language, as we have come to expect from \u00dcbermensch in the past. Emotionally and ideologically, what needs to be said is said without compromise, with the lyrics acting as a bulwark against modernity. Vocally at the highest level, Frank carries himself in a varied and powerful way through the deep atmosphere of the songs.
\nSongs like \u2018Mann oder Maus\u2019, \u201cIkarus\u201d or \u2018Farbendiebe\u2019 are just a few examples. The presentation is calm and atmospheric. All in all, a stylishly packaged, over forty-minute MASTERPIECE!<\/p>\n
