Description
Ignis Fatuus: Unlawful Jungle Emissions is the second full-length album by the Canadian band Apegod. The band’s style is a raw blend of thrash metal, hardcore punk,
and grindcore, and they are known for their political incorrectness.
The project features members of bands such as Svolder, Dawn of Svarogh, and Protokult.
Reviews on Encyclopaedia Metallum criticize the “primitive” riffs and intentionally provocative lyrics,
while others highlight the RAC and crossover influences.
The album also includes two covers:
Banana on the Boots! – a reworking of the song “Pulling on the Boots” from the film Romper Stomper.
UN Fortunate Son – a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
